Chiropractic patients can rely on a safe, effective and natural approach to managing pain and other health-related issues. Chiropractors can diagnose and treat a multitude of physical conditions that cause musculoskeletal or nerve pain, however, most patients initially visit us looking for relief from back pain.
First Chiropractic Visit
We welcome new patients of all ages and levels of fitness!
When you see a chiropractor for the first time, they will do a detailed assessment of your health. Your chiropractor will ask you a few questions to establish an overall picture of your health and determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your condition.
Once the chiropractor has obtained your information and medical history, you will be given a thorough orthopaedic and neurological examination, which will include a full spinal screening. This assessment of your spine and nervous system will allow to determine your diagnosis. The chiropractor will then be able to advise on a course of treatment – before any treatment starts, your treatment plan and goals will be thoroughly explained to you.
If your chiropractor decides that some other treatment would be more beneficial for your condition, you may be referred to your GP, to a physiotherapist or to another relevant health care professional.

A natural, safe and effective approach to health.
The main goal of chiropractic is to discover and treat the causes of physical problems, rather than deal with the symptoms.
Chiropractors examine the spine, identify and correct vertebral conditions with specific adjustments, thus promoting the body’s innate ability to self-heal and operate with the maximum efficiency. Chiropractic is a drug-free, non-surgical science.
Chiropractic adjustments, also known as manual therapy, are usually the central part of chiropractic treatment. The chiropractic adjustment is a therapeutic manipulation that uses controlled force, leverage, direction, amplitude, and velocity directed at specific joints. Under the hands of a qualified chiropractor, it is a safe but highly effective way of easing joint and spine stiffness.
Chiropractic care can be used to treat a vast range of chronic and acute musculoskeletal conditions which affect the spine, muscles, joints, ligaments and nerves. Conditions we often see and treat include:
Degenerative Disc Disease
